He-Man is one of the great warriors with the Masters of the Universe.  The character actually was brought to the public in 1980 with the toy company Mattel, who started the Masters of the Universe toy line starring He-Man.  The action figure was very popular in the 1980′s and is still popular today.  The hit TV series ran from 1983-1985 but has been in syndication for many years.

There have also been several movies involving He-Man and the Masters of the Universe characters.
